the granddaughter of the daughter of the daughter of the.... the story itself was always too long for reagan to go into. she grew up hearing it, hearing she and her brother were to become this great and powerful slayer duo, how their family name would live on in northbrooke's history. reagan, however, had other ideas. growing up, she had no interest in reading the old tomes or practicing her stake-skills. she had an older brother who would take over that, didn't she? leaving her, the only daughter, to pursue whatever her heart desired. her brother flourished under her parents tutelage, he had the skills and the know-how to excel in their field. reagan preferred to spend her days in the kitchen with her grandmother.
it wouldn't be hard to imagine how much her life was turned upside down with her brother's disappearance. reagan was fourteen when her brother never came home from his nightly patrol. no body was found, no sign of foul play. for all intents and purposes, it was as if he had disappeared in the wind. it was a short mourning period for the mcnulty's as they couldn't let the loss of one affect the training of the second. reagan put her grief to work, using it as fuel for her training. she would never be an award-winning, world dominating vampire slayer. but she could always hold her own.
when the announcement had been made that their small, sleepy town would be open to all, reagan was one of few that breathed a sigh of relief. with rules and regulations, it meant that those more prepared could take control - and she could follow her own dream of opening a cafe. funding it took awhile, she took various bounty-hunting jobs to make ends meet, but eventually she made her own dream a reality.
these days, reagan attempts a precarious balance of her slayer duties and running her cafe. mugs cafe was opened in 2016, recently celebrating their second anniversary in the spring. much to her parent's chagrin, it is not the human-only paradise they had envisioned, mugs is open to all regardless of race, creed or status, she is quick to turn out anyone found harassing another patron - regardless of species. her slayer duties have been relegated to not more than a simple patrol now and then, making sure the vampire population has not grown any since the last check. it's not the life regan particularly would choose, but it is the life she's made for herself with what she could.

calm and generally jovial, it takes a lot to get her riled up. she prefers not to get involved in matters that don't directly have an effect on her or her business, but will protect those she loves when it comes down to it. reagan is warm and accepting - she knows her family name carries a sort of connotation, one she could do without. don't let her softness deceive you, she is not one to be trifled with when her back is against the wall.
