เพพ born to a single mother living in bulverde, texas athena never wanted to have a normal life. from her childhood she was filling books with her ideas. she grew up reading the encyclopedia for fun, studying the back of cereal boxes for bits of information. each day brought new knowledge, new ideas that she absorbed as quickly as possible.
เพพ attended nyu with the intent of getting her degree in business. six months into her sophomore year, she was invited to a stand up comedy show in brooklyn. shortly, she became addicted to the scene. after a few months she finally had written her own material, shortly after she preformed for the first time. within a year she had dropped out of college to persue comedy full time, a decision she has yet to regret.
เพพ at the age of 22 she auditioned for the sixth season of last comic standing. three years after her first stand up set, she became the first and youngest contestant to win the title. it was a whirlwind experience, although not always positive, and athena still has mixed emotions when recounting her experience on both the show and the last comic standing tour.
เพพ accepted her dream job as a staff writer on saturday night live in 2011. athena flourished within this positon, finding writing with a group rewarding as well as educational. although she left after six years, she consistently refers to the snl cast as her second family.
เพพ always the proponent of doing what makes you happy, athena has been extremely outspoken about her plastic surgeries. she's said she's rather face it head on than pretend she didn't have any work done. with the media posting pictures of her ``old face``, she's publically admitted to a nose job snd lip injections.
เพพ athena is known for her brash brand of comedy. she doesn't stray far from her feminist ideas - although she has been jeered for her attempts on racial commentary - she isn't afraid to call things out for what they are. recently she was enbroiled in a lawsuit over her "girls only" comedy shows.
เพพ as of 201, she is branching more into acting as well as her stand up. while she knows comedy is her true love, acting brings her a different kind of joy and distraction from her life. เพพ
